Mésententes Cordiales

A chance to read and discuss a range of texts together over 8 weeks, with an experienced English-language teacher and community education facilitator from London. This series of workshops will suit you if:

• you have a broad interest in language and literature, history, politics, philosophy, psychology, education and theatre.
• you are fully bilingual in English and French, or can at least read and understand the other language well (even if, like me, you struggle to speak and write!)
• you are active in your own intellectual/self -exploration (or want to be), and would enjoy being a member of a participatory study group to motivate you and to exchange ideas.
• you are ok for us to proceed without a roadmap or fixed goal: we will take aspects of the eighteenth century as starting points and will follow the questions that emerge - but there is no curriculum and we can decide on the outcomes along the way ( each of us / as a group).
